Week 7 Choose Your own

So we have to choose our own...again. I'll guess i will talk about facebook. Recently, as in sunday, i deleted over 300 of my friends on facebook, which took forever, but it felt great. Facebook makes it time consuming to delete people. What has facebooked turned into? Facebook to some people is about how many friends they have..."oh i've seen them once in my life so lets add them" These people that add me because they passed me in the hall in high school. I don't even know why i even confirmed that "friendship". And now i have freshman in my high school trying to add me as friends...I dont even know YOU!! i hate what has happened to facebook. All this time that we spend "creepying" I admit i have had my fair amount of time creepying on facebook. It is just a waste of time now to me. Facebook can be a rewarding thing to people who like to know they have a lot of "friends". Facebook can also become depressing towards people and sometimes even life threating with the bullying going on. Now i realize I hardly want a facebook, but my sister is making have one and from moving around all the time and the friends I made in germany, facebook is the only way I can still communicate with them. Other then that I probably would have deleted my facebook. Another reason why I got rid of so many people on my Facebook was there was no reason for them to be creepying in my personal business especially the people who i know have nothing better to do then creep, there is so much drama in my high school and etc I dont want to see them and I dont want them to see me. I cant be the only one fed up with seeing people complain on facebook, playing truth is, or making facebook their own personal diary. Facebook has really lost all interest I have in it. I hope other people realize this nonsence and stop all this annoying stuff on facebook.

Writing Process

So, my writing process??? Well, first I guess I will talk about my location I prefer to write in, because that was the first example given. I tend to write either sitting on my bed in my dorm or at my desk. The location in my dorm really just matters when in the day it is. If its later in the afternoon into the night, it would have to be on my bed. I like it there because then I can see the TV from where I am sitting. Usually my roommate is done with all of her stuff so she’s just flipping through the channels. I like to listen to some noise when I am working. I think that comes from living in a house with five other people, there is never silence. If it is during the day then, I’m most likely at my desk. On Monday and Wednesday, I have class from nine to nine fifty and then don’t have class again till five. I tend to do all my homework in that time frame. I like being at my desk for that reason because I can have everything sprawled all over and feel somewhat productive when everything starts to disappear as I put it away when I finish my work. Like today for instance, I had all five of my subjects all over my desk and now I am down to just my English binder and my physics lab manual, which I need to go do that. I hate to work in silence no matter what I am doing. So even when I am at my desk and cannot see the TV, I have some Pandora station playing. My roommate likes work in silence sometimes, so I just let her. Whenever I am writing, I always have everything at my disposal. It always looks like a hectic mess, but its my organized mess. I’m not really sure if there is more on my writing process besides the location and noise level.

Week 5 free write

So today we have to write on anything we want. I’ll just about what I am doing today. So far I have had Italian class and FCS 103, nothing too exciting. After FCS 103, I walked back to southside and met one of the girls on my floor to eat before I have to start writing this. There was not much to choose from for lunch. I had this odd pasta with cooked vegetables. The pasta was sub-par. My friend didn’t know what sub-par meant. After a quick lunch, I have to write this before class. I have a physics test at two so crossing my fingers it goes well. After physics, I get to come to English. After that, I am done for the week! If at all possible try to make a schedule with no class on Fridays…it is the best! My friends and I have signed up for volleyball league. I think we have it tonight but I don’t have a clue yet. The team captain is not on the ball about it though. I also have a floor meeting about respect. If I don’t have volleyball tonight then I’m going to go work out at the rec. Then tomorrow will be smooth sailing because of no class. I have to go home this weekend because I have to go get my bridesmaid dress. My older sister is getting married in august of this year. We have to do this so early because one of my sister’s bridesmaid is from England. They are still good friends from when we lived in England. So we have to pick out dresses so that we can send her, her dress so she can get it fitted for her. My brother is picking me up tomorrow on his way home from University of Illinois. I am excited to see my whole family because it has been a long time since I’ve seen them all. I hope your weekend is lovely as well!

Commercials Week 4

I really like the Party Rock anthem Kia soul commercial. First of all I like this commercial because of the song it is too. I like this song because this last summer I spent a month as an exchange student in Koblenz Germany. My exchange student and I and the other American exchange students with their German students we all went to the clubs on the weekend and they played that song all the time in the clubs.(its great to be 18 in Europe) So every time I’m in the car or whatever and I hear this song I think of the great memorizes from Germany. So when this commercial came out then it just reminds me of my great summer. I also like it because of the hamsters. Dancing hamsters in pants equals entertaining. Ha My family, when I was younger always had hamsters. Well my brother always did. So maybe that’s why I find it entertaining because I know how hamsters are. People who are not hamster or even pet people they probably don’t think it is that funny. Three hundred words is a lot to write something about little stuff. I’ve seen the music video for Party Rock Anthem and its like the whole zombie taking over the world, so kia did like a halo-like (I really don’t know what halo is I just seen pictures) take over the world thing. I like the music video with the zombie idea better then metal alien things. I think everyone has seen this commercial long side the rest of the hamster Kia ads. The hamster will always be tied to the Kia Soul now. The ads don’t make me want to buy a Kia Soul anymore but I do appreciate their time spent in making their commercial entertaining for all.
